As a developing group of individual companies, and a central team who’s focus was no longer just on the original business Retail Marketing Group, our client felt it was time to set up an ‘Umbrella Company’ to house the central team and bring together all divisions/brands as a collective.
Help with everything from name development to complete brand design, including logo, stationery, digital document templates, website and interior design was requested in the original brief. Then once all this was completed, an official set of brand guidelines and assets package needed to be provided. A huge task overall, but one we couldn’t wait to get our teeth into!
To kick things off we setup a brand development workshop in which we discovered the clients likes, dislikes, vision and direction or style as well as what might be suitable for the industry and market area they work within. During this workshop we used various tools and tactics, including colour psychology and brand archetypes to develop a brand name suited to the personality of the new company, whilst not straying too far from the existing companies that are be encompassed under the new umbrella business.
Once we had decided on the final name, Revium Group, along with a clear idea on direction, style and what the personality might be, we began work on the brand design. This included a comprehensive brand colour pallet, primary and secondary logo designs, set font styles, official business stationery and other assets such as iconography, generic creative backgrounds and imagery, animated graphics, branded desktop backgrounds and email signature design.
With the basics in place and a collection of assets under our belts for the new Revium brand, we created an official brand guidelines document to be packaged up with all the assets and shared across the business to ensure brand consistency is kept throughout all types of communication and literature, both online and offline.
Now with solid branding foundations in place, we could begin work on other key tools the new business would need, such as branded document templates (PowerPoint) and the new website, which would initially need a creative holding page prior to launch, then a simple customised WordPress site, which has the capacity to build on and develop over the coming years as the business grows.
The actual physical offices were also not to be left out, an element of interior design was needed to bring the building inline with the new brand, so we helped to design everything from exterior signage for the carpark and building, to interior signs and wall art.
Overall this project to date has taken 3 months to complete the initial stages, with ongoing projects still running.
Revium Group officially launches today, 3rd April 2017.
